Well first fused glass work worth sharing! It’s taken a little while to get used to my new kiln and sort out the best firing schedules but here is one of my results. A fused glass dish. This was made by layering thin strips of glass across each other and then firing to create a
single piece. I then cleaned up the edges and re-fired to slump the piece into its final dish shape. I’m delighted with the results but not sure my camera is doing them justice.
I have also created matching coasters in several colours, fused glass lids for my jewellery boxes and have been experimenting with making a variety of window / wall hangings. Here’s one.
